Camp For A Cause with Mission: Wolf in Colorado

Camp For A Cause
Wolves and Wilderness Community Experience
Mission: Wolf
Gardner, Colorado
July 10 – 12, 2021
Additional dates TBA

Our Camp For A Cause events are retreats for adults and youth ages 8 and up. Our community focus is environmental stewardship. During our time together we develop and enrich our relationship with each other, ourselves, and the more than human world for inspired living in wholeness and elevated health. Our Camp For A Cause events occur in partnership with nonprofit organizations seeking to uplift the wellbeing of people, animals, and places through education and conservation. This event is open to anyone experienced or inexperienced with camping, to support Mission: Wolf. Willingness to work outdoors independently and as part of a team in adverse weather conditions are a must. Beginner hikers and families are welcome. Please note, dogs are not permitted on the wolf sanctuary. We have one Camp For A Cause event currently on our calendar with Mission: Wolf this year and we hope to add more. Additional dates TBA. Contact us for more information.

Mission: Wolf is a 200 acre sanctuary located in the Wet Mountains of southcentral Colorado near Gardner, Colorado. The sanctuary is currently home to twenty-three rescued wolves and wolf hybrids including three gregarious ambassador wolves. The sanctuary has played a critical role in educating people about wolves for over 30 years, with tours through the nation’s capital and schools across the nation and even a spot on Mr. Rogers, Mission: Wolf has touched the hearts of millions. And their efforts helped to clear the path for reintroduction of wild wolves into Yellowstone National Park and their work continues.

Now it’s our turn to help. Due to impacts from COVID-19, Mission: Wolf has experienced a reduction in critical volunteer support. And we at Wild Heart Revival are inspired to help and hope you will join us. Learn more about Mission: Wolf and find out how you can help captive and wild wolves.
